Tonight, badminton (!) was the sport of choice in the gym. I needed some exercise, so I decided to pick up a racket for the first time since high school. Biiiiiiiig mistake. It was fun, but I didn’t stretch (I figured it would be some people doinking it back and forth, but there were lots of other people who’d played competitively before) and I played for over an hour. Three doubles matches (we won 2) and two singles (I won both). It was good to get a good sweat going, and I’m not that tired, but my muscles are gonna be sore from lunging and shit.
Jesus, I’m out of shape. But at least I have more power now than I had when I was 145 pounds…
