Jeeeeeeeuuuuuuuust about done. Presentation this morning, exam this afternoon. It’s been an easy one so far…I won’t be falling asleep in the cab on the way home this week.
So…what’d I miss?

Day 4: still no role playing. Still no group hugs. Still no overt emotion. And today we watched an episode of The Office. Kick ass.
I’m a wee bit sore today. After playing basketball Monday night, I played ultimate (frisbee) last night. There were more than 20 of us out there playing, though only a few people knew how. Fun, if a little disjointed and tough because of the wind. At 15-15 we called it a draw.
Last night was the first time we worked a bit late, but it was more fun than work and we still got to the bar in plenty of time. It’s been an easy week so far.
Brian Mulroney: a fuckstick for the ages.

A much better leader had a more graceful exit today though. The game will miss him.
I just played basketball for over an hour with a bunch of guys I’m pretty sure are a lot younger than me. I feel kinda old now. Still, I think I held my own.
Ah, who’m I kidding? They’re all sitting around right now laughing at the old guy.
Pitchfork seems to like the new Sigur Ros disc just fine.
Good. It’s absurd that Ontario allowed “religious tribunals” in the first place.
So…there’s the first day under our belts. It’s been pretty easy so far, and it’s not looking to get much harder for the whole week. Maybe saying that’ll come back to haunt me, but I don’t expect many sleepless nights or panic attacks.
Well, I’m here, in my hotel room. I can now unpack in a matter of minutes…I have it down to a science. And I have to do it 11 more freakin’ times.
But it’s becoming familiar, like home away from home. Dallas became like this when I was flying down there every week…the hotel became like a second home. I developed routines there, just as I have here.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go track down a can of diet pepsi.
