Dear TTC

Hey there Toronto Transit Commission. Meet me at camera two.

I love that you now have email alerts for service disruptions. I know now when a subway stops running so that I can avoid the station, stay at work, call a cab, etc. Been getting them for a couple of months now. Very helpful.

However, it would be just a tidge more helpful if you would also email when the disruption ends, so I know when I can start using your service again. For all I know these outages are lasting hours, or even days. Might want to keep us in the loop. Just a thought. Cheers.

Clearly, I will not be eating here this week. Lunch was Subway. Dinner tonight it looking to be Hero Burger. I expect this trend to hold up as long as things like “turkey cutlet” are the star attraction.

Today was a rough day for many people. I needed about 4 more hours of sleep than I got, so this morning I had coffee for the first time in fifteen years. It’s as disgusting as I remember, but the caffeine helped. I can tell I’m going to fall asleep around 9:00 tonight though.

At least it’s an easy week so far. Prof isn’t bad, lots of breaks, and so on.

For the first time in ages (seriously, it’s probably been a couple of years), I got to play basketball in the gym. It was good to empty my head of everything but my foul shot for half an hour. A quick trip to Subway and I had sustenance for the evening…all set for studying.

I was a little worried about the course earlier in the week but I think it’s under control. I still don’t think I’ll be spending much time in the bar this week, but I’m feeling okay about Friday. We’ll see if I’m still of the same mind tomorrow.
