Man…getting frantic emails/IMs from a brother about your mother being in the hospital while you’re listening to a voicemail from a friend who’s clearly upset after the horrific 16 weeks she’s just spent on a murder trial…that shit’ll take years off your life.

Hope everything is Ok with your mother…
She seems ok. She left the hospital this afternoon after a few hours, and as far as I know planned to attend a meeting tonight (!) so it doesn’t seem to have slowed her down. They make ’em tough out east, you know.
