In two weeks we’ll be headed to the Rockies. However, as Nellie’s friend JR pointed out, the Banff/Jasper corridor got 20cm of snow last night. Somehow I had it in my head that high-altitude, northern Alberta weather in October would be the same as Toronto. That might’ve been an error on my part.
Right. Who’s got some longjohns?

Ok white cred boy from NS …. re Northern Alberta, check out google maps one more time, and lets (re)define North! But then again … enjoy one of the most beautiful spots in the world!
Listen, I consider Eglinton to be north. Steeles is far north. Banff and Jasper off the map. I suppose that makes the Yukon or Nunavut in some sort of parallel universe…
The expression “Going Up North” has a whole new meaning to me now that I am headed to Deline, NWT. Can’t imagine I will ever get much further north than 100KM from the Arctic Circle.
nice post title, I just choked on my coffee….
